Im giving them 4 stars mainly because delivery was very prompt, the price my budget, and my sleeves arrived in good condition. I have questions about the sleeves but overall im happy with them but tbh i obviously have no idea about long term longevity because i only just got them. I see a couple negative reviews which i was suspicious of. Some are saying "They are really thin" or " Thinner than i expected" as though that's a bad thing. In my view, the thickness or thinness is irrelevant without considering things like:

*Seam durability & construction
*Chemistry of material, overall durability and resistance to UV and oxidation, resistance to entropy/off-gassing
*Surface properties, gloss, resistance, opaqueness etc.
*Price point

Provided the product meets high standards in these areas or....without considering these factors i cannot see what relevance thinness or thickness is in terms of making a quality judgement.

Ill just say that if the sleeves meet a material standard to the point where micron is of minimal importance (to a point) then as far as i'm concerned thin is good! it means you can fit more records on a shelf or box! also means we aren't wasting materials to do the same job. Just because aluminum is light doesn't make it a better or worse product than steel. Its just aluminum.

It might be worth explaining on your web store why the sleeves are the micron they are and display and promote/explain the specs more prominently (more than just the slider graphs). Its reasonable for people to question the 'thinness' of the sleeves given most people are not chemical engineers.

If you’re looking for something to properly protect your vinyl records, don’t buy this. It’s extremely thin, even worse than the sleeves that usually come with records from regular stores. The marshmallow material is a bit better, but it has a matte finish. If you’re a DJ or looking for something high-quality, I wouldn’t recommend either product.
